1. What is Wacom Cloud?

Wacom Cloud is the overarching name for Cloud Services and Platform provided by Wacom. Wacom Cloud offers cloud services including Dropzone and Control Room.

2. How can I signup to Wacom Cloud?

You can signup to Wacom Cloud at its Web page (http://cloud.wacom.com) or within Wacom Cloud supported apps such as Dropzone apps and Wacom Desktop Center.

3. Is Wacom Cloud free of charge?

Yes, currently it is free of charge as a value added service of Wacom products.

4. How can I activate Wacom Cloud services?

Create a Wacom Cloud account first. You can then simply install an associated app (e.g. Dropzone app for Windows) and log in with your Wacom Cloud credentials. Wacom Cloud automatically activates the service during your installation process.

5. What other services can I subscribe at Wacom Cloud?

Once you obtain Wacom Cloud ID, you will see other services available at your account information at http://cloud.wacom.com/account

6. How much storage do I have? How can I check unused storage size?

Currently you have 2Gb for entire your services subscribed. You can check your storage status at your dashboard at http://cloud.wacom.com/account

7. How can I add extra storage?

Currently the size of storage is fixed at 2Gb. We are planning to offer to expand it in the future.

8. How do I delete my Wacom Cloud account?

If you are experiencing difficulties, please contact us first. If you really want to delete your account please click here. We´ll be sorry to see you go.

9. How much storage do I have? How can I check unused storage size?

Your Wacom Cloud account gives you 2GB of free storage. When you enable Inkspace you´ll get an additional 3GB of free storage.

10. How can I add extra storage?

Currently the maximum size of storage, when Inkspace is enabled, is fixed at 5Gb. We are planning to offer to expand it in the future.

First create your personal Wacom Cloud account. Please go to cloud.wacom.com and click 'Join Now'. After providing all the details click the 'Sign up' button. An email confirmation request will be send to you to verify your account. Then, activate your Inkspace account. To get the most out of Inkspace we recommend you to use ideation apps that have Inkspace integrated, such as Bamboo Paper.

2. HOW DO I ACTIVATE INKSPACE?

An email confirmation request will be send to you to verify your account. Then, activate your Inkspace account. To get the most out of Inkspace we recommend you to use ideation apps that have Inkspace integrated, such as Bamboo Paper. Inkspace can also be activated in the Bamboo Paper app.

3. HOW DOES INKSPACE WORK?

Inkspace lets you easily store your documents, notes, and drawings and enables you to easily exchange and share WILL-enabled ink files. Inkspace also offers you a web based view into your Wacom Cloud content through the Web Portal. If you use Bamboo Paper, your content is always available to you anywhere you can access the web.

4. WHERE DO I ACTIVATE INKSPACE IN BAMBOO PAPER?

Make sure you have signed up for a Wacom Cloud account. Then start Bamboo Paper and click the Wacom Cloud icon top right in your Library view end log in to Wacom Cloud, make sure you enable Inkspace and your good to go. Your notebooks will then be automatically synced to the Wacom Cloud and can be viewed through any browser with the Inkspace web portal; http://Inkspace.wacom.com

5. WHICH BROWSER AND APPS ARE SUPPORTED?

Inkspace is accessible through all common browsers, like Safari, Chrome, Firefox and IE. Inkspace is integrated in Bamboo Paper for iOS and Android and lets you automatically sync your work to Wacom Cloud.

6. WHICH DEVICES ARE SUPPORTED?

Inkspace is a web-based product. You can use it on any device running a supported operating system through web browsers.

7. WHEN CREATING A WACOM CLOUD ACCOUNT, HOW MUCH STORAGE DO I GET?

Your Wacom Cloud account gives you 2GB of free storage. When you enable Inkspace you´ll get an additional 3GB of storage.

8. WHAT TYPES OF FILES CAN I STORE IN INKSPACE?

You can use Inkspace to store any of your common files you use to be creative. You can store images, documents, PDF files or whatever format you work in most. We do not limit what you store in Inkspace.

9. CAN I SHARE FILES ON INKSPACE WITH OTHERS? HOW?

Yes. Inkspace has a built in share function for you to give a view of the files you choose to anyone over the web.

10. WHAT FILE FORMAT DOES BAMBOO PAPER USE?

All your Bamboo Paper notebook content is saved as a .bamboopaper file type. This ink-specific format will allow you to share your Bamboo Paper content with any other Bamboo Paper user.

11. WHAT IF I DELETED MY NOTEBOOKS IN BAMBOO PAPER?

If you delete your notebooks in Bamboo Paper, they will be deleted in Inkspace because Bamboo Paper automatically since your notebooks to your Inkspace account.

12. CAN I DELETE MY BP NOTEBOOKS ON MY IPAD THROUGH THE WEB VIEWER (E.G. IN CASE THE IPAD WAS STOLEN AND I WANT TO PROTECT MY NOTES)?

If your device is lost or stolen and you are concerned about your Bamboo Paper Notebooks, immediatly login to your account at http://cloud.wacom.com and change your password. This will protect your account, and allow you to prevent anyone from deleting your notebooks in your account.

13. DOES THE WEB VIEWER ALLOW REMOTE ACCESS TO MY BP NOTEBOOKS?

Yes, you can view all of your Bamboo Paper notebooks on Inkspace although it does not allow you to edit.

14. I DON’T WANT TO AUTOMATICALLY SYNC MY NOTEBOOKS TO MY INKSPACE ACOUNT. DOES IT HAVE A MANUAL SYNCING FEATURE?

Inkspace doesn't have a manual syncing feature. All of your notebooks are automatically synced to Inkspace.

15. WHAT HAPPENS IF MULTIPLE PERSONS USE THE SAME INKSPACE ACCOUNT ON MULTIPLE DEVICES AT THE SAME TIME?

Inkspace will attempt to merge any conflicts created by simultaneous updates. If a merge of these changes is not successful then Bamboo Paper will create a duplicated notebook.

16. I HAVE DE-ACTIVATED ONE OR MORE WACOM CLOUD SERVICE(S), HOW DO I ACTIVATE IT/THESE AGAIN?

Visit Wacom Customer Support, at http://support.wacom.com and request to re-activate your Wacom Cloud service there.

1. What is Dropzone?

Dropzone is a cloud service by Wacom and offers a personal image clipboard to quickly make all types of images available on different platforms, devices and software. Unlike the system clipboard Dropzone can store multiple images as much as you want.

2. Which operating systems are supported?

Dropzone works on Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.7 and later and iOS 7 and later

3. Which devices are supported with iOS 7?

Dropzone supports iPad 3, iPad4, iPad Mini, iPad Mini Retina and iPad Air

4. How to get started?

First create your personal Wacom cloud account.Please go to cloud.wacom.com and click 'Join Now'. After providing all the details click the 'Sign up' button. An email confirmation request will be send to you to verify your account.Then start Dropzone and log in with your account.

5. How does it work?

Just drag&drop your images into the Dropzone, and have them on all possible devices. Your Dropzone clipboard will be synced across platforms and devices automatically. Dropzone apps are available for iOS, Mac OSX and Windows.

6. Which image formats are supported?

Dropzone supports several bitmap image formats: BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, TIF

7. Are vector image formats supported as well?

These type of formats are not supported but will be considered for future releases

8. What is purpose of the Dropzone app?

This is an easy-to-use clipboard viewer which allows to view all images available in Dropzone. You can select, copy, paste, delete and access your settings from there. Furthermore the viewer informs whether your images are already synchronized in the Wacom cloud so that you can use your images .

9. How can I add images to Dropzone in Windows and Mac OS X?

You can choose. Use the paste icon in the Dropzone menu. Or drag an image to the Dropzone viewer. Or use keyboard shortcut Ctrl-V (Windows) or Command-V (Mac).

10. How can I use my images in Dropzone in Windows and Mac OS X?

Open the Dropzone viewer and select one or multiple images. You can either drag the selected image(s) to another application or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-V (Windows) or Command-V (Mac) in the target application.

11. How can I add images to Dropzone in iOS?

There are two possibilities. a) Dropzone is supported within the app or b) Dropzone is not supported within the app. a) use the app specific function to export, save or copy to Dropzone. b) open the Dropzone app and use the paste icon in the menu to add the image(s)

12. My app doesn´t let me copy to Dropzone or to clipboard? What can I do?

Copy the selected image(s) to the iOS photo roll and use the copy command from there.

13. How can I transport my images from Dropzone to another App in iOS?

Open the Dropzone app and select one or multiple images. Then use the copy icon from the menu and insert into the target app

14. What is the easiest way to copy my photos from my camera roll or iOS album to Dropzone?

Open the Dropzone app on your iPad. In the top menu you find an icon which allows to import photos from the camera roll or iOS album. A tap opens your camera roll or photo albums for selection in a drop down menu. Tap on either album or camera roll. Tap on a photo to add it to Dropzone. Tap outside to close the drop down menu

15. How can I copy my images from Dropzone to my iOS camera roll?

Open the Dropzone app on your iPad. Tap and hold on an image in Dropzone viewer. A pop-up menu appears allowing to “Save to photos”. Chose this option to copy your selected images directly to your iOS camera roll.

16. Can I delete images in Dropzone?

Yes, Open the Dropzone app and select one or multiple images. Then use the delete icon from the menu

17. Can I access my images when I am not connected to the Internet?

Yes. However you will not see images which have not been synchronized yet. Images you are adding to Dropzone will be synchronized automatically, the next time you connect to the Internet.

18. What does the cache setting in the Dropzone viewer app do?

The cache setting allows to set the maximum memory space you reserve on your system drive. This ensures that you can use your images even when you are not connected.

1. What is Control Room?

Control Room is a cloud service by Wacom and enables to save your product settings in the Wacom cloud and restore from there.

2. Which operating systems are supported?

Control Room works on Windows 7, Windows 8, Mac OS X 10.7 and later

3. Which Wacom products work with Control Room?

Intuos 4, Intuos5, Intuos Pro, Intuos, Cintiq Companion, Cintiq Companion Hybrid, Cintiq 13HD, Cintiq 22HD, Cintiq 22HD Touch, Cintiq 24HD and Cintiq 24HD. Future Intuos, Intuos Pro and Cintiq products will be supported too.

4. How to get started?

Before using Control Room the first time you are required to sign in to Wacom cloud services. First create your personal Wacom cloud account.Please go to cloud.wacom.com and click 'Join Now'. After providing all the details click the 'Sign up' button. An email confirmation request will be send to you to verify your account.Then start Control Room in the Wacom Desktop Center and log in with your account.

5. How does it work?

Control Room can be accessed from the Wacom Desktop Center. In the left pane choose the option 'Backup and Restore Settings' and then 'Control Room' . In the right pane three options will appear 'Backup Settings', 'Restore Settings' and 'Manage Settings'.

6. What does 'Backup Settings' do?

This feature saves all current settings of your product in the Wacom cloud. You can save different product settings of the same product or of different products.

7. What does 'Restore Settings' do?

This feature restores settings of your product from the Wacom cloud. You need to select the settings you like to restore

8. What does 'Manage Settings' do?

This feature gives you an overview about all settings stored in the Wacom cloud. Here Dropzone allows to you rename and delete settings.
